The Rios Of Mercedes has a very narrow fit. These boots are made the old fashioned way, by hand! The best thing that they do is the leather is wet lasted...what this means to you is the fit you have at the beginning is the fit that you will keep...these boots will not do much stretching!  They only use A Grade Leathers. Isn't it amazing how one word can have multiple meanings? Take the word 'crepe' for an example, it could either mean the famous French breakfast dish, or it could mean the Justin TeknoCrepe boots that hit the sells lines at a run. READ»

Fitting A Boot
posted: 6/30/2006 10:55:59 AM

Let me tell you how a boot should fit... There is a piece of fiberglass that goes across the front of the boot, it is called a toe box. This piece of fiberglass will not let that area stretch. Optimal fit is to be about in the center of the toe box with your longest toe and the ball of the foot should line up in the widest part of the sole and the instep should be comfortably snug, not tight, you should NOT be able to feel a heartbeat sensation.
