As a person that has worked on their feet from 8-16 hours a day for most of my career I can really appreciate a comfortable pair of boots. When I moved to Lubbock a little over a year ago I never thought I would be selling cowboy boots, let alone wearing them on a daily basis. My first few weeks at Boot City, I scoured the shelves looking for a pair of boots that I would feel comfortable wearing. I didn't want to look out of place in my new boots. I really wasn't looking forward to that painful "break in" period that I heard came with a new pair of boots with a leather sole. Well, after a few weeks of picking the brains of my coworkers and observing what our customers were buying, the perfect pair of boots caught my eye. They were a pair of Justin Smooth Ostrich Square Toe Boots with a Tekno Crepe Sole. These boots had all the features I was looking for. The square toe is not only fashionable, but also very comfortable. The smooth ostrich is soft to the touch and also surprisingly durable, so I didn't need to worry about wearing them day after day. Last but not least, the Tekno Crepe Sole was my way out of the painful leather sole "break in" period that I was mistakenly concerned about. This pair of boots exceeded my expectations. The Crepe sole was so soft and comfortable I felt like I was back in my favorite tennis shoes, only these were cowboy boots. They aren't supposed to this comfortable are they? My boots not only helped me get through a nine hour day on my feet, they also dispelled the myths I heard about wearing cowboy boots.
